Paint Your Heart Out paints the exterior of qualifying single family homes with the SWA’s recycled paint at no cost to the homeowner. More than 80 homes were painted or repaired last year. In fact, last year the SWA donated more than 7,000 gallons of recycled paint, made in part from unused latex paint collected through the SWA’s Household Hazardous Waste program, to non-profit and governmental agencies for use on homes, public buildings and in graffiti abatement programs.
